Stout Steward is a rich, creamy rye cocktail that blends dark beer depth with a bright, effervescent lift. Made with Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye, egg white, and simple syrup, then finished with stout beer and tonic water, this drink delivers a smooth texture with layered roast and spice.
Stout Steward Ingredients
- Ice (for shaking)
- 1.5 oz Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz stout beer
- 1 oz tonic water
Mixing Instructions
- Add the rye, egg white, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
- Dry shake (without ice) for 30 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- Add ice and shake hard for 15 seconds, until well chilled.
- Strain into a chilled Old Fashioned or lowball glass.
- Gently pour in the stout beer and tonic water.
- Serve immediately.
