Morning Fog
The Morning Fog is a rich, coffee-forward bourbon cocktail that balances warmth, sweetness, and subtle bitterness. Crafted with Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Bourbon, cold brew coffee concentrate, simple syrup, and chocolate bitters, this cocktail is finished with a silky salted maple whipped cream for a smooth, indulgent finish.
Morning Fog Ingredients
- Ice (for shaking and serving)
- 2 oz Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Bourbon
- 1.5 oz cold brew coffee concentrate
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes chocolate bitters
- Salted maple whipped cream (see below)
- Ground coffee, for garnish

Mixing Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the bourbon, cold brew coffee concentrate, simple syrup, and chocolate bitters to the shaker.
- Shake hard for 15 seconds, until well chilled.
- Strain over fresh ice into a tall Collins glass.
- Gently pour the salted maple whipped cream over the top of the cocktail.
- Garnish with a light dusting of ground coffee.
- Serve immediately.
Salted Maple Whipped Cream Ingredients
- 4 oz heavy cream
- 1 oz pure maple syrup
- 1/8 tsp salt
Salted Maple Whipped Cream Instructions
- Add the heavy cream, maple syrup, and salt to a bowl.
- Whisk by hand or use an electric mixer until the cream thickens but remains pourable.
- Use immediately or refrigerate briefly until ready to serve.
