Stout Steward

Stout Steward is a rich, creamy rye cocktail that blends dark beer depth with a bright, effervescent lift. Made with Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye, egg white, and simple syrup, then finished with stout beer and tonic water, this drink delivers a smooth texture with layered roast and spice.

Stout Steward Ingredients

  • Ice (for shaking)
  • 1.5 oz Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Rye
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz stout beer
  • 1 oz tonic water

Mixing Instructions

  1. Add the rye, egg white, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Dry shake (without ice) for 30 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  3. Add ice and shake hard for 15 seconds, until well chilled.
  4. Strain into a chilled Old Fashioned or lowball glass.
  5. Gently pour in the stout beer and tonic water.
  6. Serve immediately.
